God Has Given Us a Victory!
    Lee J. Martinez
Lee Martinez Well the dust has settled and the Sharathon ended with $187,000 pledged! After Sharathon, we received more pledges from people who hadn't called during the campaign. Based on that I feel we will have what we asked for.

Our goal this year was a stretch for both our listeners and for the station. We all had to exercise our faith. But stretching and exercise are needed to stay fit. God has given us a victory! We have a healthy start to our eighteenth year! For those who were able to help we thank you. For those who are still deciding what they will do to support WCIF in this coming year just let me say we need your help. The goal we reached was the low end of our proposed budget. With your help we can go further. There are projects and needs your support will help make possible.
    Share Team
SHARE TEAM: Todd Isberner, Neil Stavem, Mel Johnson
Once again, we want to thank our friends on the "Share" team: Mel Johnson, Todd Isberner and Neil Stavem. As usual they did a great job helping all of us, listener and staff alike, stay to the task and have the right attitude about our fund raising campaign.
I always appreciate the way they treat our listeners. They never send them on a guilt trip or badger them into giving something they will regret later in the year. They helped us stay close to the Lord and gave us opportunities to praise as we went. Lord willing, they will be back with us next year. They have been invited to attend again.

As we begin this eighteenth year, let me ask you to continue to support us in your prayers. This is a spiritual battle. There are hurdles and barriers to overcome.
God will supply the strength and the wisdom, but I think He will always be asking us how badly we want to win. How important is it that we and our neighbors have a place where the Gospel is presented? Pray that we will be able to see and make the necessary changes to make WCIF the most it can be. Remember to tell your friends about WCIF. Word of mouth has proven to be the best way to develop faithful listeners. It's like having a satisfied customer, they can put their praises into words we might not think of. Let's ask the Lord for a blessed year. We should all feel good about what we have done and what will be accomplished because of our efforts. God Bless.

    Lee J. Martinez

But as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, even so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who tests our hearts. I Thessalonians 2:4

    Letters

INDIAN HARBOUR BEACH - Even this small gift helps me to keep from taking WCIF for granted I know, from traveling to other areas, there is no radio station quite like WCIF. Thanks so much!

MELBOURNE - I do want to support WCIF, but I will not be making a pledge. We are currently commit- ted to other ministries. We will send contributions as we're enabled by our great God and Heavenly Father. We will be praying for many to come to Christ through WCIF and for our Father's blessing on your ministry. We want to thank you and our Father for you because you totally proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ and God's plan for the ages. We delight in the messages of J. Vernon McGee, Chuck Swindoll, Charles Stanley, and Tony Evans. We really thought the Christmas Season on your station was superb.

SATELLITE BEACH - Thank you so much for the newsletter, and your mes- sage "Entrusted with the gospel" was absolutely just great. I just knew you were a great preacher. My prayers are with all of you at this time and I do hope and pray that all goes well and people to be generous with their gifts for Shara- thon. The picture on the back of the newsletter of the Sharaton team was nice to see their smiling faces appear like rays of sunshine. May God bless all of you there and I will be listening part of the time. Love to all in our great Savior and God.

PALM BAY - I praise and thank God for life and the opportunity of listening and being blessed by your programs by God's grace I will continue to pray for the visiting team and all the daily workers. Also unity and goodwill to continue throughout this new year; I pray for the salvation of new listeners especially the youth. God willing I'll continue to do my little part. Enclosed is a $ gift, and will continue my gift of $ monthly.

COCOA BEACH - I will be out of state for Sharathon 1997. But, before I leave, I want to make sure my pledge is in the mail to you. My prayers are with you for the most successful Sharathon ever!!! Thank you again and again for the light your fine programming provides on a 24 hour basis!!! May God continue to bless the station and each and ev- eryone of you who staff it.

SATELLITE BEACH - I thank the Lord for your station, your music and the love of Christ that is poured out to the people of Brevard County. I wish we could hear praise reports during the Sharathon of the people who have gotten saved by "stumbling into" your station! We will also be praying for your station during the Sharathon that you reach your goal for '97.

PALM BAY - I am so happy in the Lord for all His blessings to us, and for the telethon. I am enjoying every moment of it and praying that many will give as the Lord bless and He will take those precious brothers back home safely. I am proud of Palm Bay folks, so if it's His will that we see another year it will be richer for us all in His name because He is a Sun and Shield and nothing good He will withhold from us.

MELBOURNE - Thank you for all of the gifts of love you share each and every day. May God continue to bless your ministry. Love in Christ

SATELLITE BEACH - We really appreciate the inspirational music and messages we hear daily on WCIF. Thanks for the constant reminder that we can trust the Lord to meet all of our needs! We give Him thanks for sustaining our marriage for 30 years --looking forward to at least 30 more! In Christ's Love,

MELBOURNE - Thank you for your wonderful Christian programs. May God bless you during your time of need.

COCOA - WCIF is the best Christian station in the country. We have been in other states and we could not find any station like this one. Thank you for your faithfulness.

BAREFOOT BAY - I have a bedside radio where Ithe station is never changed from WCIF and I listen anytime from when I go to bed til I get up in the morning. All the programs are a big education and a great comfort to me. I thank God for all of you.

MERRITT ISLAND - Thank you for getting God's Word, His love and encouragement to so many listeners. God bless.

SEBASTIAN - I start and end my day with WCIF. It's a real and blessing and I would miss it terribly if not on the air.

PALM BAY - It's hard to say which are my favorite programs because I have my radio on all day so I listen to all the programs. It takes your mind off the cares of the world.

VERO BEACH - This is a great station for anyone who loves the Lord. I have prayed that the Sharathon is a great success.

MELBOURNE - I love this station. I began listening to these programs in Virginia Beach many years ago. We moved here over 4 years ago and it has been an on-going uplifting experience each day to be able to hear the Word of God.

MELBOURNE BEACH - Heartfelt thanks for the inspiration, teaching and blessing overall WCIF provides by its excellent programs.

BAREFOOT BAY - WCIF is such a blessing to me! I am able to listen all day at work. God bless your very important ministry, and all who are involved in it. My prayers include all of you.

PALM BAY- WCIF is a great blessing. Can't imagine mornings and nights without it!

SATELLITE BEACH - WCIF starts my day off right as I ride to work in the morning and calms me down as I return in the evening.

WEST MELBOURNE - We appreciate all your programming. We get a lot of positive input from our customers that come into the shop. Thank you!

SATELLITE BEACH - My life is blessed daily by the wonderful programs. Thank you for seeing that they are of such a high quality.

VERO BEACH - I am so happy to have WCIF coming into my area again. For a long time I wasn't able to get it, but praise the Lord, it sounds good. My husband went home to be with the Lord last May. So I enjoy WCIF even more now.

COCOA BEACH - I just want you to know that I appreciate you so much. There have been times the music has lifted me up. Also that God has had a word for me during one of the teachings. And the teachings help me to grow in the Lord. You have blessed me so and I know you do te same to others. I'm so happy you are a part of our community. May God bless all of you abundantly.

INDIALANTIC - I travel several times a year. We search out other Christian radio stations and we both agree WCIF is the best. Your blend of programs reaches so many areas of life. You are a blessing to so many.

MELBOURNE - Your programs and ministry are a tremendous benefit to me daily. I've been encouraged and grown in faith in this past year. I wish I could get the radio station at work . . .
