    FROM THE MANAGER
    Lee Martinez
Lee Martinez Oh to be a child again! I am reminded of how precious life can be when I'm with children. I spend as much time in their company as possible, especially my grandsons!

Oh to be a child again! I am reminded of how precious life can be when I'm with children. I spend as much time in their company as possible, especially my grandsons! As they ask questions and soak up the answers or as they bring you into their imaginary worlds, you remember the joy of your first discoveries and the thrill of learning something new and of course important. I come away with a feeling that life has more value than I've been giving it. Their interpretation of life is like a breath of fresh air or the taste of crystal clear water. I can enjoy it and I benefit from it. It's my resolve to be more like my grandchildren.

Jesus said we could give ourselves a head start if we would take a child's approach. His message of hope was difficult to the cynical people of the world so He told them what their attitude should be. "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven" (Matt 18:3-4).

Obviously Jesus was looking for qualities that indicated work was in progress. Once cynicism and sin had hardened a life there was need for a transformation or the shell was sure to crack. We are in need of trusting, honest, humble and expectant hearts. These are qualities of a child who knows they are safe with whatever they have put their focus upon. Childlike then speaks more of a willingness to face the future than it does of immaturity. Where could our faith take us if we sincerely gave our full trust and expectations to the Lord? What could happen if we humbly sat at our Savior's feet and admitted the things we did wrong, that took us places where we could no longer see our Lord? Jesus was saying if we came to Him as a child He would see and receive that child. Our world would open up again and be fresh with new expectations.

As much as I want to have the childlike qualities evident in my life I need to remember we have responsibilities to our youngsters. It has always been our intention to help keep families focused on the Lord so they can have a means of staying healthy. We make time on Saturdays for childrens, programs and through programs such as Today's Child and Threshold, we help parents and youth leaders stay in touch with their young people. We can only scratch the surface and provide reinforcement to what is being done in the Christian home and community in terms of our youth. They need our prayers and help. Remember the many activities that will now be focusing on our children. Pray for the spiritual victories that will be won in Vacation Bible Schools and other youth oriented meetings this summer. Pray as volunteers and youth workers prepare to encourage our children to give their complete trust to the Lord.

    Letters

MELBOURNE - Thank you for the music you play, for Focus on the Family and all that you do for our community. I love listening to Tony Evans but I miss him much of the time. I do private duty nursing and when I can listen it is very uplifting to me. I need all the help God can give with some of my patients. P.S. We will pray for those who took your property and the other station also. God will convict them of what they did and they will ask for forgiveness.

MELBOURNE - What a blessing you are finally back on the air. Praise God! Satan was really at work to keep the station off the air and to keep all people from hearing about "Jesus Christ" our Lord and Savior! . . . I am so glad you are back on the air. I also want to thank you for putting the "Program Addresses" in the latest newsletter - that is such a great help.

WEST MELBORNE Enclosed you will find my first time contribution of $. The Lord has blessed me and my family richly through the ministry of your radio station. I commute to Orlando to work every day and use this time as my devotional and meditation time. Your morning and afternoon drive time programs provide a rich blend of spiritual blessings to me during my trips.

MELBOURNE -Thank you for the unexpected - but much appreciated gift of the Ravi Zacharia tape! It was thoughtful and generous of you. Keep up the great work - God bless you richly for it! We don't get to see you often, but we hear you - loud and clear!!

SEBASTIAN - Here is our donation to your Sharathon Drive. We totally enjoy your Christian Radio Station and have it on all the time, even in our car. Your station is a blessing to us, as it keeps in tune to God's message daily, through your different programs. Thank you for the wonderful cassette by Ravi Zacharias, we enjoyed it so much. God Bless you all.

ROCKLEDGE - So sorry to hear of theft - please use enclosed check to help replace it. Thanks for up-lifting programs. God Bless

PALM BAY- Here is my first pledge for this year. What a great station, because of WCIF I feel closer to the Lord each day. Thanks for being there. My favorites are Chuck Swindoll & Ron Hutchcraft.

MELBOURNE - It is so good to wake up in the morning and be able to tune in onto the words of our Master through his instrument WCIF and any hour of the night its my constant company. Thanks be to God. COCOA - I read in the paper that you had been robbed. This is just a drop in the bucket but I pray it will minister to you and help toward replacing what was taken. Blessings!

INDIAN HARBOUR BEACH - I truly enjoy your ministry. I listen every day on my way to work. The Lord speaks through you always at the right time the right message, even if it might not be what I want to hear. Thank you, May God continue Blessing!

MERRITT ISLAND - Please use this to get WCIF back on the air as soon as possible. We will not allow the enemy to still the voice of hope, peace, love and restoration we have in our Lord.

PALM BAY - May God continue to bless and guide you in the work you are doing. I truly enjoy WCIF Again thanks. Is there any way I could get some of the tapes of those beautiful hymns and songs. I need the tapes when I am out of range of the radio station. God's blessing be with you all.

PALM BAY - Great programming! Thanks for the gift and the opportunity to share. The contribution of $ monthly is in memory of my Mom.

MERRITT ISLAND - Love all your programs ^ most especially Dr. McGee, Chuck Swindoll and Tony Evans! Thank you.

PALM BAY - I am so thankful for the radio broadcasters. I missed it so much when it was off the air but thanks to God it's back . It keeps me going all day. I feel closer to God when I hear the good words I sing and enjoyed. God is good all the time. I accepted Jesus when I was sixteen years old. Now I get closer to God as I listen to His words. Thanks again. I have a problem with my lower back, in lots of pain. I pray that God will help to recover from this so I am asking your help in praying for me to be better. Thank you

INDIAN HARBOUR BEACH - Still love WCIF all the programs are best on the air - My radio is the first thing I turn on in the morning . Thank you so much for being there for me.

BAREFOOT BAY - I did not get to send in my donation during Sharathon this year, as I usually try to do, so am sending it in now. I love the station and your programs. I took my car to the Auto Service just the other day and the man that handled it for me said "I love your Radio Station". Of course I had it on WCIF.

PALM BAY - I was reminded last week, when you were off the airways, how much I have grown to depend upon your ministry. I also realized what could happen if there was no Christian radio! I was also ashamed to admit I have not done all I could to support God's ministry. Enclosed is a check from some money that God has blessed me with.
