FROM THE MANAGER

I've had the opportunity to be part of two celebrations since our last contact.  One was a grand celebration from beginning to end.  Our youngest daughter was married.  The other started out on a sad note.  A dear friend left but is now with the Lord.

My friend left without time to say goodbye.  I'm sorry there was no time to express everything that could have been said.   It is easy to part with a friend when you know there is a good chance you will see them again soon.  You can pick up your conversation where you left off almost as if you were never apart.  But this will be different.  What has been left unsaid will have to remain that way until the next time we meet.  In fact, the next time we meet, and we will, I'm sure our conver-sation will be about other things including our new heavenly home.  I'm looking forward to a great reunion as well as a grand tour.

What a difference there is when you know the Lord is in charge of the final outcome!   We have a reason to sing.  Some of our most popular songs have come from situations that started out on a sad note.  One that comes to mind,  "If you could see me now", has certainly helped comfort our concerns about loved ones who have gone home to be with the Lord. The thoughts in the song remind us that when someone who belongs to Jesus goes to be with Him all pain and afflictions including sin are gone forever.  If we ever considered calling them back because we miss them and love them and don't want to be without them we are comforted by their new circumstances.  What God has provided brings them and  us peace.  The celebration is for God's goodness and provision and what a time of rejoicing it becomes.

God has provided.  Our family celebration was prompted by how Our God has provided for our daughter.  We've been watching Sandie and Mike since we first heard they were interested in each other.  This may sound one-sided and in a way it is but I was watching to see how Mike treated my daughter in various settings.  "Her mother and I" were not surprised when we heard this was definitely the one and Mike mustered the courage to ask for her hand. God has been taking care of Sandie and Mike from their childhood. They both have the protection of loving families.  God has seen to it that they both belong to Him.  At the right time He placed them in jobs far from home, close to each other and under His watchful eye.  At our best, we can only guess what would be right for our children.  God knows exactly what He has in mind for them.  We praise God for what He is doing in this and every situation.  He is in charge and brings us out on top!  He Is Lord!

NEW MEXICO - I just want you to know I appreciate your Christian station. I do not live in the area, but have been spending the winter here and have been listening to your station.

MELBOURNE - Thank you for your continued work in bringing Christian Music and programming into our home 24/7.  I leave the station on in our home most of the day even while we are not home.  The pets enjoy it also.  Please find ½ of our pledge enclosed.

PALM BAY - God Bless and keep you all.  I am so happy to hear you have reached your goal for the year.  God is so good to all who really believe and trust in him even those who don't trust in him he provides for them.   I am sorry I was not able to send my pledge last month, but it's better late than never.  So enclosed is my pledge.  It's so good to have you in my house day and night.  Keep up the good work.  God bless you all.

E-MAIL - Thank you for playing Carmen's "America Again".  Thank you for  publishing on this web site guides for the National Day of Prayer.  I couldn't read the download from the Presidential Prayer Team letter so I really appreciated you having published such a great list of names and prayer ideas.  Thank you for all you do in all of your special programming every day.

MICCO - Continue your wonderful work that only God knows how many people you reach and touch, including this humble lover of  the Lord.  God bless each and every one.

INDIALANTIC - My workday is enriched because of your radio program.

WEST MELBOURNE - I've said it before, and I'll say it again, you are all a  blessing and doing a great job!

SATELLITE BEACH - Thank you for another wonderful month of Christian broadcasting.

MELBOURNE -   My husband and I especial- ly want to share our appreciation for you and the wonderful spirit filled outreach you have in the airways.  Such a ministry is glorifying and honoring to our Lord every minute of every day.  May you continually be blessed as He challenges you to seek His face and do His will.  You bring joy to our hearts daily.

MELBOURNE - God bless you for your faithful ministries every day (and night!)  My car radio is always on 106.3!!  Thank you for always being there!

PALM BAY - "Bless the Lord, Oh my soul and all that is within me.  Bless His Holy name."  I'm so glad I continued my pledge to WCIF because you know how sometimes the enemy tries to tell you that you can't afford it this time, so don't bother.  Well, my Lord knew  my future and the plans He had for me because March 14, 2002 He gave me a supernatural blessing which left me speechless.  It pays to listen and trust and obey when the Holy Spirit speaks.    He's real.

NAVARRI

Only our Father knows just how thankful we are for your ministry.  You have been such a great blessing in our life in Melbourne.  Lifting us up to Jesus, encour- aging and helping with our growth in Christ.  We were only in Melbourne for a short time.  We were on the last leg of our trip of finding a new home in NW Florida when I checked to see if WCIF would come over the radio.  Praise God!  I was able to call in a pledge.  (It was your last hour).  God is moving us. . . to join C. Colson in a prison ministry.  You have played a great part in my growth, and I will always be thankful for your part of my ministry to share Jesus. COCOA - Enclosed you will find a check.   Part of this is to pay off the pledge we made last year and part of it is to work on our pledge for this year.  Of course, since I didn't send the green piece of paper back this year to tell you what our pledge was you didn't know we were going to continue our support.  Our pledge this year will be $ if you need to put it in your records somewhere.  I think you do a wonderful job presenting  Christ Jesus to your listening audience with just the right blend of music and talk . . .  Listening to your programming has brought me many blessings, lots of learning and has spoken to me when I needed to hear and answer.  I also love your personal letters to say thanks however it is all the Lord's doing and we couldn't have done it without Him.  Besides it is His money anyway.  I know you will be sure to thank and praise Him too.  May you come to the point like in the Old Testament where Moses had to tell the people "Okay we have enough!"
