FROM THE MANAGER

I recently had a conversation with a lady who was upset at one of our Bible
teachers.  It seems he had corrected something her church teaches.  He was
using scripture she was arguing tradition.  Her church couldn't be wrong
because the practice she was defending has been passed down through
centuries.  She finally even used the "T" word.  We should learn to be more tolerant of other views.  Although she had listened for quite a while she still felt there were other views than those which are Biblical.

For the record and for others who may be confused let me see if I can clear up what should be obvious if you listen for any length of time.  First, because of the programs we choose we know you will receive a well-balanced study of the scripture.  Among other things you will learn that the Bible teaches us who Jesus Christ is, why we should worship, what God requires of your resources, what God is like,  how we should treat others and what are the important issues of life.  This is only scratching the surface of the practical education available to the serious student. At all times there is the encouragement and inspiration of Christ honoring music and comment.   Second, you should only expect to hear what the Bible teaches.  It is God's Word and it is the mainstay of why we exist , where we are going and how to have the victory from now to eternity.  Anything that man has added is extra-biblical and has no place in our broadcast.  Anything added to or taken from the scripture will be dealt with by the author and you won't like the results.  Sincerity and tolerance cannot make up for hearing and doing the Word of God.  We are earnest in our desire to see that you hear clearly what God has said to His creation.  May we never be offensive in our manner but may we always deliver the truth.  We know the truth will offend those who are hiding from it.  We also know that truth can set a person free from their sinful slavery.  We want to see the results of freedom in each person's life.  We want you to keep listening for all the right reasons.

Lee J. Martinez

LETTERS FROM OUR LISTENERS

ROCKLEDGE -  Have been listening to your radio broadcast of Sharathon 2002 and learned after lunch today that you needed additional contributions to reach your goal of $230,000.00.  Hopefully, my second contribution of $ will help toward that end!  Thank you for an excellent program each day over WCIF 106.3 FM - Many times your music, John MacArthur, Dr. Dobson, Dr. Lutzer and others have inspired me to continue with prayers and thanksgiving to dear God as I take care of daily responsibilities of family and church life!  Dear God is good and cares for my needs.  May He continue to richly bless your ministry.

MELBOURNE- To All WCIF-Christian Radio Staff:  Your radio station is a blessing to both my husband and I.  There is no other radio station that is on when we are in the area of your reaching arm.  Your prayers, songs, messages, Dr. Dobson, money management, and just knowing the Gospel is out there to be heard every second of the day is such a comfort.  We listen to WCIF on the way to work, on the way to the doctor's visits, on the way to business meetings and on the way to church.  Thank you for your tremendous outreach.  We are praying for all of you to stay focused on the Lord.  God Bless.

MELBOURNE- I am a mother approaching the "E.N.S" - Empty Nest Syndrome.  I have one daughter still at home, and my husband, and 3 pets.  At times, when I need a blessing or a lift, WCIF is there for me.  I have a small radio on my table.  Sometimes the music is so inspiring; I just stop what I'm doing and lift my hands and worship the Lord!  Thanks again for being there and for your faithfulness to spread the Gospel.

PALM BAY - Thanks for the good work you all are doing.  May God always bless and keep you and your family in good health!  Please pray for my wife and family and also my stepson in Barbados that he would come to know God like the rest of us.  Thanks Again.

PALM BAY - Jesus is always there to answer your prayer, it's never a busy sign.  Thank God for WCIF.  My radio goes on from six in the morning until night.  I pray and sing with whatever is going on.  I am asking for prayer, my back is in lots of pain and I know only prayer can help so please pray for me.  Thanks to everyone.

WEST MELBOURNE - To all those at WCIF who work so hard not only during the Sharathon, but all year.  Thank you for the great blessings you give to our community each day.  My prayers are with you for a successful year as we walk together for Christ.  God Bless You All.

TITUSVILLE- Enclosed is my monthly gift to WCIF.  My husband and I enjoy
WCIF very much.  The station has truly been a blessing to us.  Thank you and everyone at the station for your faithfulness and God bless you all

MELBOURNE - Thanks so much for allowing me to volunteer to answer the phones for the Sharathon on Wed. A.M.  It was uplifting to me to hear the wonderful testimonies of  how  WCIF ministered to those to whom I spoke as I received their pledges.  I am enclosing the first half of my day sponsor pledge.  I will send the other half next month. God Bless All.

COCOA - I wanted to thank all of you for your wonderful efforts in the Bible teachings.  And the beautiful music is so uplifting.  Bless you all.

MELBOURNE - Please find herein the 2nd check to complete my pledge.  Thanks for the privilege.

ORLANDO - This is a half of my yearly donation.  I will send the other half soon.  This is toward my commitment to your radio station of  $ monthly.  I hope this will help towards a very outstanding Christian facility.  I am a 24/7 listener to this station.  My radios are on no other station.

PALM BAY -  Enclosed is a one time gift check.  Sorry I missed the Sharathon.  I truly enjoy your Radio Station.  God Bless you and all your volunteers.

PALM BAY - Greetings in Jesus precious name.  I am sending my deepest appreciation for your station.  It is  a great blessing to me ever since I am living down here for the past 2 years.  It is on most of the days & nights.  I enjoy the teachings & preaching every day.  I am praying God blessings upon all of you & WCIF that you will always continue.  Enclosed is my gift of $  Please pray for me as I do the same.

TITUSVILLE- Thanks for Broadcasting 24 hrs.  I especially enjoy 6:30 PM to
6:30 AM as I work nights & can listen to you most nights.  You're all a blessing & comfort during those long hours.

MELBOURNE - Enclosed is a check for one half of my yearly contribution.  I will send the balance at a later date - (probably August).  I am trying to "down size" my paper work!  I appreciate your wonderful programs "thru" all these years.  Thank you for your witness for our precious Lord.  I thank you for the news on the hour, for public service and information announcements - for trivia, etc.  I have listened to your station since it started and praise the Lord for each of you.  I am so blessed to be able to contribute from my resources to such a worthy cause.  Our city of Melbourne and Brevard County receive the Best of Christian radio in WCIF!!!

ST. CLOUD -  Sorry that I can't make a pledge.  I am 90 years old & my husband is in a health care center.  I appreciate your programs very much. May the Lord comfort & encourage you.  I pray the Lord will supply all your needs.

MELBOURNE - I will try to share my allowance with WCIF - because I have it
on all day appreciating the music I like the ministry.  I am almost blind and can't see my writing.
