FROM THE MANAGER

We live in a world of impressions.  It is a world of senses that send signals to our minds and cause a response.  Advertisers study to know how to make the impression of need or want and steer us toward the only product that can fill that need.  Act now and get two for the price of one. God gave us the ability to be directed, to make decisions by our impressions.  It can be a positive or a negative thing.  Our wills are involved.  When the serpent asked Eve  " did God say . . ?", he was in this way asking Eve what her impressions of God's  love, care and sovereignty were.  Eve what will you do?

As Christians we should be guided by a certain set of impres-sions.  It's more than a doctrinal study.  One doctrine tells us there is a God and He is sovereign.  As with Eve we must decide to trust His love, His care and His Lord- ship.  Can He, will He take charge and take care of us?  This doctrine says yes and this teaching  has come directly from God's Word.  What we say and do about what we know, comes from our impression of what is real and is in our best interest. God has always been there for us. " I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread. They are always generous and lend freely; their children will be blessed".   Psalm  37:25, 26.   The impression of the psalmist tells of God's care and His rewards for those that follow Him.

God has ways of making lasting impressions on us.   The sermons we hear, the direction of the life we lead, all the inputs to our senses even the station we listen to each day can be used by God to direct us successfully.

A recent song we played brought me up short and made me rethink my day and attitude.  I had to stop and get alone with God for a minute to adore Him and apologize and let Him melt and remold my straying heart.  God is awesome.  He can steer your life through a statement from a sermon, a song or a even a simple smile.  Impressions that tell you He cares.

WCIF is in the ministry of impressions.  The nearly 200 songs you hear each day are meant to be more than background although they can be used in that way as well.  With more than twenty speakers each day you're sure to find some that reach you on your level.  Some will reach you in a minute, others will teach you in up to a half hour.  It is all about being more like Jesus so we can live triumphantly though our circumstances as well as focus on the needs of others. Want people to see God in light of your life?  Let your light shine brightly by doing good works.  Make an impression.

Your Letters Bring Encouragement!

Melbourne - Great Job, Praise The Lord!

Merritt Island - Just want you to know how much we appreciate WCIF - We listen every morning while eating breakfast and every evening while cooking the evening meal - Also if we are out and about in the car, you are there.

West Melbourne - Praise Our Lord.  I have always enjoyed WCIF, particularly going and coming back from work at the Cape.  . . it was a thrill having the radio as a partner on the highway between W. Melbourne and the Cape.  I'm retired now but your station was indeed appreciated over the years.  I will support your cause from time to time and at this time I'm
enclosing something for your special project of upgrading your radio system.  It isn't much but when God blesses it goes a long way.

West Melbourne. - Here is my pledge . . . Thank you for help- ing me stay  "focused" on the Lord daily!

Palm Bay - I just send you this to help pay the bills.  Thank you all for the good work you all are doing.  My wife is sick . . . WCIF is a real blessing to me.  Please pray for us.

Merritt Island - Your station is a beacon of light in a dark world.  I  listen all the time, and you are a blessing in my life.Thank You.

Palm Bay - I just moved to the area and really enjoy your station, Thank  you.  "Being with you always puts a spring in my step!"

Melbourne - Enclosed is my contribution for the "special project".  I am sorry that I have been so late in sending a donation this year.  I just didn't get around to it in March.  I hope this helps you through the "summer slump."

Melbourne - Dear Members, Thank you for your songs and programs.  May God bless you all.  I'm new in Florida.  Please send me bulletin and news again.  Thank you.  P.S. help me pray for my family near and far.

Palm Bay -  I never knew that I could have such a desire and joy in giving to the work of the Lord.  Glory to His name.  You don't know like I know what He's done for me.  The more I give the more blessings I receive.  Believe me, I am having a jubilee.  It's awesome.  My God keeps
His Word.

Palm Bay - Please accept my apology for my delay in fulfilling the promise I made to your during your last Sharathon. . .  Enclosed is a check . . . for each month and an additional in appreciation for all your hard work.  May God bless you with good health and prosperity.

Palm Bay - Enclosed is my check . . .  I am so thankful for your Christian radio station.  I am legally blind with macular degeneration, and also lost my husband a year ago, and your ministry has been wonderful!  Never knew it existed until a friend stopped by my home and told me about 106.3  Thank you, Thank you, so much!

Palm Bay -  I love WCIF.  It is the only station that I listen to anymore.  I have my mother listening to it all the time now, as well as a couple of people at work.  I would even consider putting your bumper sticker on my car.  I never put stickers on my car, but I would make an
exception for you guys.  Your programming has been a real blessing to me and has helped me renew my walk with Jesus.  Thanks to WCIF I have come back from years of backsliding and I was baptized last Nov....

Titusville - Dear Friends at WCIF, Thank you for your faithful commitment to reaching the world for Christ with such an excellent line up of the best in world and music and news.  I'm blessed to have Mike Kellogg and the entire p.m. line up as I work nights.  I enjoyed Dr. Bob Cook on "Voices  From the Past".  I lived in New York and listened to him for years.  He
always ended with encouraging statement.  "Walk With The King Today & Be A Blessing".  A BIG thank you Scott for the Quiz.  Keep them coming.  Enclosed is my Radio Support.

Melbourne -  Thank you so much for WCIF.  I just don't know what I would do without the positive Word Of God, feed back that I get all the time from my radio.  I have it on all the time.    Your gentlemen who is on in the morning hours, I turn it on 7-11, he is wonderful. . .   his quiz's that he has gets you thinking.  The commercials you have to raise money are so funny.  . . I have been supporting WCIF for a couple years. . .  We drive way into Poincianna every Sunday from Melbourne, that's on the other side of Kissimmee and it comes in clear.  Thank you.

Melbourne - Since I have MD and can't see so good, Oh how I do so enjoy WCIF and listen a lot.
.
Orlando - Dear Friends, I've just moved here from So. California and I'm so glad to have found your station I love it.  I was looking for Family Radio,  but I couldn't find it, but I couldn't be happier with your station.  I'll try to give a little something each month.

Satellite Beach -  Thank you for another wonderful year of music and programming.  What encouragement and inspiration WCIF is to all of  us.  What a real beacon you are in stormy days!  Please find our check enclosed with this letter.  We consider this such an honor and
privilege.  Our deepest thanks again for all you do to give us such a marvelous Christian station. May God richly bless each of you.  Love and Prayers.

Cocoa - Thank you!  Thank you!  For your hard work and devotion to a sound on the airways that really does reach into the hearts and lives of people who tune in.   Here is my pledge to an invaluable and highly prized people as in God's will.  May God bless all of you.
