EQUIPMENT UPDATE
  Our special project to update our automation equipment is at approximately 10% of what  we need.  Thanks to all who have contributed.  There's still room for you to help.  The total project will cost $10,000  and will wait until we have the funds.

As in previous years WCIF will ask listeners to partner with us and provide help to some needy neighbors.  This year Habitat For Humanity has a very exciting project going that will seek to involve more people to provide multiple homes all in one dedicated neighborhood.  If you haven't  heard about "Faith Landing" you will during the one-day fall Care-A-thon.  Just a quick review will help you know how to pray for the early October event. Habitat has purchased land in Melbourne which is large enough to build 20 houses.  The plan includes  having their own church in the development.

We will discuss with them how they will qualify the families and  what the needs are at this point and any other question you might have.  This is  exciting in that we have an opportunity to reach  beyond ourselves and really make a difference in a number of  families' lives.  Families that need "a hand up, not a hand out".  By now you know the record of Habitat that they are good stewards of everything  that is given to them to use.  This year's project is just another instance of how well they do in planning and  working their plan.
